Hey, hey now, I'm a doll!

SEEN

Karl Lagerfeld as a doll. Especially after going on his ultra-strict diet, Karl Lagerfeld is already like a walking, talking real-life caricature. But now Tokidoki is taking on the Kaiser of fashion with a mini-me doll version cast in silver and black. Italian artist Simone Legno, the guy behind the Tokidoki cartoons, will only be issuing 1,000 of these collector items and will be available at Tokidoki stores worldwide and then Colette in France for a month exclusively. If scrambling for one of the Karl dolls isn’t looking likely, there will also be Karl Lagerfeld x Tokidoki tees this coming Spring.

HEARD

“Nicolas Cage is without doubt one of the most intelligent artistic and aesthetic minds on earth. He represents the epitome of noblesse oblige.”

–Ted Stourton, one of the proprietors of Camelot Castle, on issuing a press release titled, “Nicolas Cage – a knighthood from Camelot Castle?” [Guardian UK]
