Maria Cornejo’s trademark dresses may have celebrated the opening of the High Line with a capsule collection and found a new home on Bleecker street in New York recently, but the Chilean designer still keeps in touch with her international roots. Opening June 20th, the Brachfeld Gallery will host a Zero+Maria Cornejo pop up shop in Paris.
WWD reports that Cornejo previously lived in Paris for 10 years before relocating to New York, but since then she has been a low profile presence in the City of Lights. This year marks her return, with her designs now also selling at Joseph. Appropriately, expect a celebratory party timed with the Paris Men’s shows. Fete Accompli.
